Overmodulated audio when importing AIFF files from Protools
by bill paterno on Mar 5, 2007 at 10:04:10 pm

In Protools the audio is just below 0 on the meter but comes out overmodulated on my media composter (adrenaline on g5) I have checked all the settings (not many) and I am stumped as to why I cant get some good clean audio. I really dont want to resort to just bringing down the volume via the audio tool. Anybody have an idea?

Thanks,
Bill

Bring down the clip volume. Because of the nature of digital audio levels and what various softwares consider "0", this is fairly normal. Other option, moderate the audio in ProTools.
