skip files when batch digitize
by pol_de_mol on Nov 7, 2006 at 9:53:38 pm

I have a sequence, did a batch digitize but some clips were skipped. The original media was 15/1s so the clips that were skipped are still in that resolution. Now I want to re-digitize only the clips that are still in 15/1s. Is there an easy way to do that?
I can't delete the 15/1s media because I still use it for other projects. I don't want to do a consolidate because it take to much time.
I know, I know...next time I must use the decompose but for now I'm stuck.
Thanks,

unlink your 15.1 clips (alt relink)
batch dig your sequence(off line media only)
relink your media later when you nedd the 15.1

are all your files on the same drive?
if not unmount the drive which contains the 15/1s media files.

we always use seperate drives for our offline and online edits. so we just unmount the drive with the offline resolution and online the sequence to the online drive. then we cut the audiotracks of the offline sequence under it. done.
