Varicam variable frame rate footage in Adrenaline

I am working on a spot for a client that will be shot on the Varicam. Most footage will be shot 24p, but some will be at 48fps. I am finding very little, but conflicting, info on editing Varicam projects in the Adrenaline. (We have edited these spots in FCP in previous years, but the client owns an Adrenaline.)
Could someone tell me whether the following are true:
1. The variable speed footage must be loaded using capture on the fly or an in-point only.
2. Adrenaline can only work with 24fps or 60fps footage. Other frame rates are not supported for creating slo-mo/fast-mo.
3. If we intend to use the 48fps footage both as slo-mo and at regular speed, we will need to load the footage twice.
4. We cannot decompose nor consolidate the variable speed footage.
5. We cannot recapture the variable speed footage and have it conform.
6. Use of Varicam footage within Adrenaline will cause infertility and/or dessicated manhood.

1. The variable speed footage must be loaded using capture on the fly or an in-point only. TRUE
2. Adrenaline can only work with 24fps or 60fps footage. Other frame rates are not supported for creating slo-mo/fast-mo. FALSE. LATREST VERSIONS USE THE VFR FLAG. THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE OVER FIREWIRE CAPTURE.
3. If we intend to use the 48fps footage both as slo-mo and at regular speed, we will need to load the footage twice. TRUE
4. We cannot decompose nor consolidate the variable speed footage.YOU CAN CONSILIDATE, AND DECOMPOSE, BUT THE RECAPTURE OF THE DECOMPOSED CLIPS WILL NOT WORK.
5. We cannot recapture the variable speed footage and have it conform. YOU CAN RECAPTUE THE ORIGINAL MASTER CLIP THAT WAS FIRST CAPTURED.
6. Use of Varicam footage within Adrenaline will cause infertility and/or dessicated manhood. JUST THE DESSICATED MANHOOD.

Despite this being claimed by Avid I found this NOT to be the case.. If anyone (Michael?) has any tips on how to achieve recapture of original material I would love know..
