So it been awhile since I've been on Avid, but here is my question.

How do you import Bins from another project into Avid Express Pro? I have done it before, and I swear I could simply drag and drop the bins right into Avid? Is this correct?

I have bins from a client, and they will not open in Avid. I know if its composer all bets are off, but is there a step I could be missing?

I am on a Windows XP system.

thanks!

You can copy the bins and paste them into your project folder at the desktop level, or leave them where they are and go to your Project window, select the fast menu (make sure you don't have any bins selected already) and choose Open Bin. Then navigate to where the bins are, select one, and hit OK.

You can't, unfortunately, select more than one bin at a time this way, so if you have a lot just close Avid and copy them into your project folder. When you restart Avid it they will all show up there.
