RED is always sort of cool FMC content creators party - http://www.nabshow.com/2009/attendee/ticketedEvents.asp no full info yet, but should be fun, last year was. G tech had a really hot mini party last year which i only heard of on the show floor... so did AVID. probably a good idea to keep ears open on the first day. 	Re: NAB is almost here cool NAB parties by Bob Zelin on Mar 20, 2009 at 2:30:54 am we are having a booze sponsored party for the forums (Cow, AVID-L, FCP-L) at the Hard Rock Hotel on Monday night at the Center Bar. We are waiting to firm up the sponsors before I do a formal announcement, but we've been doing it for the last 6 years at the center bar at the Hard Rock Hotel on Monday 4/20/09. I started this gathering because AVID would have private parties at the Hard Rock, and would not let everyone in, so I started the center bar gatherings for AVID-L just to piss off AVID. All the AVID people would wind up at our gathering at the center bar after the AVID party let out. I hate these restricted events. If you are an AVID user (or FCP user, or Premier user), you should be allowed to go - you DONT need to be an owner. That is why this event has become so popular (and free booze !).
