Serpentine Render Problem
by Todd Carter on Sep 1, 2009 at 7:31:05 pm

Hello, I'm having a render issue with Serpentine. I have about a minute long sequence with 12 different serpentine layers and PSD generated text. The 12 different serpentine layers are never on screen at the same time, only one at a time. Ram previews great at quarter resolution. Actually the comp renders fully at half resolution. However at full resolution, the render fails every time at nearly the same spot, but not exactly. This is the error message.

After Effects Error: attempt to get a value from a time stream with no key values
29::36

I have checked around, but I can't figure out what keyframes would be incorrect. They are all interpreted normally. (no easy ease) and there is no time displacement in this comp. I have tried about a dozen different things - but to no avail. Looking for some help. Thank you!

Hi Todd.

I'd be happy to look at your project -- it's probably showing a bug in Serpentine.
Would you be able to send me your project (just the .aep file - no media files necessary)?
Send files to: matt@zaxwerks.com

In the meantime, I'll do a quick perusal for where this message could occur.
