HOw can I create a 3-D droplet, or water drop, that has spherical properties at the bottom of the droplet, and not plane type of 3-d droplet? hope this makes sense. When I draw one in Illustrator, and open it, it comes in as a plane type of 3-d object.

Hi,

You need to create a custom edge and apply it to a tinny circle (1pt X 1pt). Check my tutorial on this.
