Mixing 1080p/23.98 & 1080i/29.97 clips in the timeline

I've shot 90% of a project @1080p/24fps and need to add 1080i/29.97 clips to the timeline but i'm not able to do it. I have the latest version of M100 suite. I've imported those 1080i clips but they don't conform because the frame rate is different. What do I need to do to make them work. I want to mix other q-times clips too but anm having the same problem.

You have to convert all 1080i29.97 media to 23.98, pulling up all clips using AE or other app like DVFILM-MAKER, before import it from M100.
You could perform a 'force' import to standard and codec from M100 (selecting it in the import window), but it isn't a clean interpretation of the movement, because it do not pull the cadence of the frames.

What are your camera/codec settings?

Are you working at 23.98 or 24 fps?

That's a great camera, we're shooting a 13 chapters documentary series for TV with that camera right now, and we're converting all 1080i60 material that we receive from different sources, using MAKER from Marcus van Babel from DVFILM. It has around 10 years since he created it, and is still working great in it's last versions. You can convert 1080i60 clips to 1080P23.98 using the codec of your choice: uncomp_10, PRoResHQ...
I don't know Wondershare but I can assure that with Maker you can do the job.
