Blackmagic Multibridge Extreme - FOR SALE
by Andrew Fraser on Jun 5, 2009 at 5:57:00 pm

I have a lightly used Blackmagic Design Multibridge Extreme for sale. It needs a good home.

I am asking $800.

Shipped in original box with all components (including rack-mounting brackets)

From the User manual:
-----
"Multibridge Extreme supports standard and high definition SDI 4:2:2, 4:4:4 and analog YUV, as well as NTSC/PAL video in and out.

Multibridge Extreme also features 8 channels of AES audio with sample rate converters on all inputs. For analog audio Multibridge Extreme supports stereo XLR audio in and out, combined with two channel RCA audio outputs for low cost HiFi monitoring.

Multibridge Extreme includes built-in dual link DVI-D and HDMI monitoring. With dual link DVI-D Multibridge Extreme can support 30 inch LCD monitors (such as the Apple 30 inch Cinema Display) - and this higher resolution display allows for full resolution 2K digital film editing.

The DVI output also automatically detects HDMI devices when connected via the included adaptor, ideal for connecting to the latest big screen televisions and video projectors.

Multibridge Extreme works natively in 4:2:2, RGB 4:4:4 or 2K digital film resolutions. Also included is true 14 bit analog conversion for high quality analog video.

When not connected to your Power Mac G5 for editing, Multibridge Extreme works as a bi-directional video and audio converter so it will stay useful, long after the computer you plug it into.

Compatible with QuickTime™ and DirectShow™, Multibridge Extreme can use a wide range of video software for video capture and playback in either standard definition, high definition 4:2:2, high definition 4:4:4 RGB, and even 2K digital film resolutions.

Multibridge Extreme lets you can customize your system for different tasks simply by selecting the video software you prefer to use. Use Final Cut Pro Studio™ on Mac OS X™ or Premiere Pro™ on Windows XP™ for editing, then combine Adobe After Effects™ and Photoshop™ for broadcast design and paint."
