Kona2 with K-Box

For Sale: AJA Kona 2 with K box, and all breakout cables. Asking $600 for everything. Everything is in great condition. We upgraded computer, so we also upgraded the Kona card to a K3. Now the K2 is available.

Can I use this card to capture ProRes422 and does it offer the same hardware acceleration for ProRes as it does from DVCProHD?
I would like to beef up my G-5 to use as a capture station and then edit on my Mac Pro. We have decided on ProRes for our codec, so I want to make sure this card will help.

ProRes422 is offered as a Kona 2 preset for SD and HD. I did not use the ProRes codec with my G5. I was 8 or 10 bit depending on the project. To be sure of the Kona2 compatibilty with ProRes422, you may want to check the AJA website.
