Hi guys

just looked at the Nvidia website and saw the new 3012 core 4Gram GTX 690

wonder if this would work in my 2010 12 core macpro, it's a PCi 3 card.

can we ran PCi 3 cards in macs ?

No, the 600s don't work on Mac.

PCI 3.0 if backwards compatible, so you can stick any PCI 3.0 card in a PCI 2.0 slot and it will run at PCI 2.0 speed... there's just no Mac support for the 680 and 690...

...for now?
