SONY HXR-MC1 HD-bulletcam export problem

Does anyone have a work-around for exporting SD shots from the HXR-MC1? The shots in question were recorded in SD, not HD, and exporting from the camera's USB port brings over the video, but not the audio. Where are the associated audio files? I can see and hear them on the camera's playback unit, but there are no sound files in the file directory. Thanks.

I think you are experiencing a codec problem. Do a little research and find out what codec you need for that cmaera output and find on net and install. This seems to be a common problem.
