DSR-11 Deck: Switching formats without remote?

I have the Sony DSR-11 deck. I don't have the remote (or better put, can't find it).

Is there any possible way to change from dvcam mode to dv mode without the remote? Is there a button combo/way to switch from dvcam to standard dv?

Hey Jordan,
I had this same issue a few months ago and was able to determine there is no way to switch the record format without the remote..

If you can't find it...I was able to buy one on Ebay for $50 or so.
