I had that board for a year, and the best RAM for it is OCZ PC-2 4200 Platinum Rev 2. It comes in 2X1024 sticks for about $400. Never use 4 sticks with that mobo, i.e. 4X512. Also, Corsair and OCZ make PC-2 5400 and 6400 that work well in it. That board likes low latency, as opposed to high bandwidth (like the 955 platform). Try running at 675 Mhz at 3-2-2-8 timing at 2.0 volts for video editing with that board, or, if you OC the bandwidth, relax the timings a bit and you'll be fine. Kingston is decent RAM, but can't keep up with the big boys.
