Has anyone here tried a ProOne or other card in laptop docking station?

Do any of the manufacturers recommend or support using their cards in a docking station?

I asked this question on the Pinnacle support forum and received the following answer:

Pinnacle strongly recommends against putting a Pro ONE in a docking station. The PCI bandwidth problems alone to and from the docking station would probably cause no ends of lockups.

we do not. but have i got a great idea solution for you. Edition 5!! It has all of the cool real-time 3D features of the Pro-One and it is a much more powerful NLE w/ integrated DVD authoring that lets you burn your DVD directly from the timeline!!

Edition 5 runs GREAT on a fast laptop.
