2006 macpro possibly using imac g5 as monitor

I just came across a free imac g5 and would like to use it as a monitor.
I am looking for the best way to set it up, I have vga/vga with two different size mini display connections one for my macpro which has a 5770 display card and, the wider one for the g5.
