Hi,

Question, r.e. getting a plasma TV to do basic color correction. (I've read that they come closest to a pro monitor without breaking the bank.)

Any recommendations for 2012 models? The Panasonic Vieras with "Infinite Black Ultra Panel" appear tempting. Does anyone know if they can actually be hooked up to a Mac tower, and calibrated to do a decent job? (I'm not talking about major feature films, most of my work derives from shorts, industrials, etc.)

Any other mfrs. or models that might do the job for close to $1500??? (Guess that means a 42 inch screen, for that kind of money.) Thanks!

P.S. I won't be working in 3D.
