This is an FCP X title preset.

This preset enables you to use animated masks to style your text in many different ways.

I have built into this preset 20 different animated mask presets which you can select and then adjust the many different parameters to add a styled look to your text.

There is also the ability to use your own animated textures or video, giving you unlimited text style control.

- 20 Different Text Mask styles to choose from
- Use your own video clips / textures to stylise the text (choose custom mask in preset box, then populate drop zone)
- Mask scale, position, rotation and blur controls
- Adjust the mask density by using the Mask Levels controls
- Foreground Text and Background Text colour controls
- Global Text opacity controls
- Font style, size and tracking controls
- Position text separately to mask texture
- Text Blur Controls
- Apply a tint to your text with separate intensity control
- Ability to "erode" or "grow" the text and mask texture to further define your look for the text
- Add a border
- Shadow controls.

Just to clarify, if you wish to use your own video / stills / textures as a mask to your text, first you need to select from the Mask Style Preset dropdown the option called >> Custom Mask

Now click on the dropzone image well.

A pop-up will appear asking you to "Click the clip that you want to use for "Custom Mask". Then click apply clip

To get exactly the portion of clip you want, edit the clip to the timeline and trim as needed. Then select this clip as the source for the custom mask dropzone.

You can remove this clip from the timeline once you have populated the dropzone.
