 | Final cut X pro Multicam sound glitch "cut sound"
by Juha Västi on Sep 9, 2012 at 4:10:28 pm |
I have this hour clip. It is filmed with two panasonic cameras.
Camera one took the audio from the mixing table and i have but it as master audio in
the project. Now every time i cut final cut adds weird "cut sound" on it?
I have made several project with the multiclip and everything has worked perfectly but my last
project and this one has the same problem with the cutting sound.
I have no idea what to do.... and yes i only cut the video

Okey
found the problem. If Final cut automatically fixes one of your camera audio (loudness, background Noise, Hum removal) then you have a problem and you get the "glitch" to your sound when you cut...it weird problem because the audio should be absolute even if you remove some frequencies....

Check all the clips and make sure that there is no audio effects on. Then make new multiclip project or remove the rendered files so the final cut has to calculate all the changes again.
But it depens how far you have done your porject...
I dont know will it helpo for you but it helpt for me. Before you do any changes you should duplicate your project if something goes wrong.

I had this problem once. It was wierd, it's like I could "hear the cut" even though there is no change in the audio through the video-only angle change. I just created a new multicam clip, it was fine, deleted the old one and was on my way.
So, apparently it was a glitch with the multicam clip itself, not the original media. Fortunately I had only done a couple cuts before starting over.
Did you just uncheck the audio effect in the inspector, and then it was fine? Because I've used all three of those audio enhancements at one time or another in multicam clips without issue.

Hey,
yeah first i tryed to do new project and it didnt help. So that´s way i started to check the setups and options.
i had two clips and one of them had audio audio effect on. So i removed all the effects. For now i dont remember did i remove the render files so the final cut must calculate all the changes again or did i make a new project.
