Hi all

I have a png graphic sent to me by a client which needs to be keyed. It's white text on black and one letter of the white has a coloured swoop on it. Dropping it into the timeline allows me to key the text against a background. However - I need to change the white text to blue and the black background to solid white. I can connect it to a white solid generator which gives me white on white but then how do I change the white text to blue (and keep the colours of the swoop the same)?

Thanks!

I would do the work in PSD.

PSD has very powerful tools for this.

If you don't have Photoshop. You can download a 30 day fully functioning trial, and I bet after trying it out you will buy it.

If you need to learn how to use it I would suggest Lynda.com. Lots of great tutorials there.

Thank you - I do have Photoshop but I'm not an expert. I'll delve into Lynda...

You could do this in Pixelmator as well. Its Replace Color function works really well for this sort of thing. And it's cheaper than Photoshop. A lot cheaper.

I've done it in my ancient copy of Photoshop but I'm certainly going to check out Pixelmator. Thank you.
