Cross Platform Publishing

Hi All,

I've not been on here for a long time, as you can see from my post - a very long time!

I have Director 8.5 and I have been creating cross platform projects using a mac and a PC. I saw the recent email blast from Adobe about Director 11.5 and wondered if anyone can answer my questions - as their website is lacking some information.

1) Does the mac version allow me to publish projectors for both PPC macs and Intel macs, as well as PC's (I'm guessing it does)
2) Anyone used flash video - and can you only use it contained within an SWF?

I'm considering upgrading to an intel mac - and saying goodbye to my long serving G4.

Yes, PPC and Mactel as well as Windows can be created on your Mac. Only Mac OS X.4 and higher are supported for authoring.

You can use FLV, F4V and mp4 files all played natively now. No need to use the SWF for Flash video - though you still can if you want.
