Import swf file with video with alpha channel to director

Hi all,

I want to import a swf file to director. This file has a video with alpha channel.
I have a video with a man who talks and explains things that exists on the background of the movie...
So, i want to import this video to director and put it in front of the stage...preserving the transparency of the alpha channel...It works fine in flash but when i import the video to director it losts the transparency and fills with white color.
I have Director MX2004 fully updated(with the new flash Asset xtra).
Is there a way to succeed this? Is it possible? Am i doing something wrong?

This only may help, but in Director, check that:

DTS (Direct to Stage) for the Flash member is OFF (default is on)

If this doesn't work, try with the different 'inks' available for the Sprite; especially Matte, Transparent and Background Transparent.

The support for all features in Flash 8 has been so-so in Director, which is unfortunate and slightly bizarre, concidering the same company is making the two programs.
