At best there would be a coupon code in the Mac App Store. Unless Apple is offering it as a prize (would be the first I heard of this) everything about your ebay offer looks suspicious.

When I received the prize I was given the incorrect wording. The registration detail is the REDEMPTION CODE to be applied in the MAC App Store. There are more details regarding how to apply this code on the listing.

Considering the instructions are a direct email I received from Apple, I think you are the one who doesn't understand what's going on. The registration detail code is also known as a REDEMPTION code, and if you read the activating instructions it clearly tells you how to use it

Thanks for that verification. I think you should stat that in the ad as I doubt I'm the only one suspicion given the wording of the ad and the lack of attribution of the source of the prize. I know it's common for people to sell unwanted prizes from user groups, yet Apple doesn't offer prizes at such groups but I can see it for a gov't sponsored competition targeted to youth.
