In that direction," the Cat said, " lives a Hatter and in that direction lives a March Hare. . . . They're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
Alice didn't think that proved it at all.

I've made a chart, I think this proves beyond any doubt that FCPX is faster than Legacy

You got me. You got me. You got me. How do you argue with facts like that? You can't. You just can't.

Wait, wait, WAIT...
Everybody stop.
I need some time to go find a clever "cut and paste" graphic here so I can play.
Obviously simply making arguments based on one's own thinking - writing them in the open for everyone to read, judge and argue against - is inadequate.
Silly for so many of us not to understand that what we've really needed here is a GUIDE so that we dimwits can become "educated" about how to think and reason.
And how foolish of me as an individual to have expected that the regular posters here (on both sides of the issues) were already smart enough to do that for themselves.
Seriously, if you don't like what someone posts here - the standard in this forum has always been to stand up in your own words and tell us WHY you're right and they (or we) are wrong.
Cut and paste logic instruction? Really? Well, perhaps this stuff is brand new to you, so you figure it's also new to everyone else?
Fine. Here's an additional exercise that will help you even more! Go back and find comments people here have made that you think FIT your cut and paste poster thinking - and tell us why.
Yeah, I know.
That's takes effort and possibly even some original thinking - which this forum has benefited from on both sides.
Unfortunately, that's way harder than pasting a graphic.
My 2 cents.

The statement "I find X to be faster than Legacy" is quite reasonable. It would be better if modified by the clause "in my/some workflows (describe here.)"
It is not reasonable to make the statement " X is the fastest NLE in the world. Period."
It is reasonable to make the statement that "I find the Mac/OSX environment to be superior for (reasons or conditions go here.)"
It is not reasonable to make the statement "It is well known that Mac/OSX is the best all around computer."
If you can't understand the difference between these 2 types of arguments perhaps you should consider giving another look at Franz's chart.

Anybody have a chart on how cheetahs compare with honey badgers [link]?
I think Tufte would be proud.

What were you feeding the Cheetah?
If you place a Bison 300 yards away from each the Cheetah will run very fast but FCPX starts to background render. FCP legacy, on the other hand, will eventually produce a Yak.
