I still use it, although not as much since getting Combustion last year and AE 6.5 earlier this year. Very handy for quick roto and paint work, but honestly, as technology changes and the software is left in the dust, I've forced myself to become comfortable with AE. Its not too bad, but I'm still waiting for a similar write-on tool that Commotion has. Great for signatures and other stroke fx without having to play with masks!!!

I still use it. Espescailly for roto - I'm no expert but Commotion still does today what I bought it for years ago. Yes I've got AE and Combustion but Commotion still rocks for me.

I've just acquired Shake now after the price drop - bought for good slomo which FCP is particularly lame at, so it'll be good to see if Shake is any better at my Commotion needs.

Wow, thought this was closed and only for archives still listed!

I use it often for Rotospline work, still find it tops.

I wish Avid would resurect his software. And may I be bold enough to ask that they make it Open Source and licence it under a GNU licence. I think the creative and programming community would make the program fly. It has a solid base to start from.
