Does anyone use Digital Rapids DRC6550 card to encode HD mpegs files? I cannot get the deck control to work properly. My SD projects work fine. With my HD projects, I can FF and REW the deck, but when I initiate the capture, it fails and reports "failed to get input frame rate." i am using the COM port with a 422to323 converter.

"i am using the COM port with a 422to323 converter."

That could be the problem, but maybe not.
Check ALL of your DigiRap settings. The profile settings with these cards are extremely sensitive - miss one setting and the capture bombs out. The entirety of the capture profile has to be completely in order.

Check your DigiRap hardware settings to make sure it is set to the framerate you are trying to ingest. That is usually a manual change you have to make for the card every time you change to a different framerate.

That has at least been my experience. Hope you get it locked in.
