If you're on a Mac Pro running Snow Leopard and PrP is 'laggy', try upgrading to Lion.

Makes a massive difference!

Thanks to Tom Daigon for the heads up.

That is all.

Wayne

Yes, we strongly recommend that Mac users use Mac OSX v10.7.4. It makes a big difference, especially with OpenCL and the Premiere Pro CS6 (6.0.1) update: http://adobe.ly/K4UzZX

Just upgraded to OS X Lion 10.7.4 and Premiere Pro 6.0.1 in the same day. The real-time playback is unbelievable!! I loaded up a timeline with native XDCam EX 720p footage, several layers of graphic titling, a couple Boris filters, and some Boris RED transitions. I've never seen anything like this on my system.
Thanks Adobe for bumping up the speed limit, and making the magic happen.
