hey,

is it possible to speed up part of a video ?
i don't mean a segment, what i mean is for example a video of a guy playing piano is it possible to speed up his hands but not the rest
of his body ? thanks

The way I would approach it: Duplicate the Layer on top of each other.
Mask The players hands/forearms and Keyboard part of the Piano out and rotoscope. Then speed up the footage of the hands and add some motion blur. As long as the player doesn't move their torso too much, it shouldn't be too taxing...Of course this would make your entire clip shorter, in it's whole. It's probably easier to do in After Effects, but should be do-able in Premiere as well. Hope this helps! Good Luck:)
