I remember seeing the word "expected" somewhere around the May 7 (I also remember it being May 6) on the pre-order confirmation.
Sounds like they're still putting some final touches on the product. Even if those were done by now, they'd either have to release the download and physical versions separately, or manufacture those discs pretty darn quick to get it out the door by the 7th.

People should be careful to not confuse promises with targets.
