Adding LTC during capture?

Suppose I have an old tape format with LTC on audio2. No RS422 remote control. How could I get LTC input in PPro using an external LTC reader during capture?
The Blackmagic cards I have don't have LTC input.

This might work, but the deck has 34pin parallel connection, not 9 pin serial. Maybe I have to look for a converter 34pin to 9pin RS422?
Would any of the capture programs (Media Express) read VITC if inserted?
