I'm looking to upgrade to Premiere CS5. If I need to build a new computer, what are the recommend components? Give me options, please.

MOBOs?
Graphics cards?
Sound card?
Memory?
CPUs?

Etc?

Thanks.

Min CS5 System requirments are on Adobe Cs 5 System requirements, but, Duo-Core 64 bit, Nvidia Quadro Fx 3800 video Card with a lot of RAM 12 Mb, I have ; more may be better for H264 mov files from a Canon 5 D mark II files and big "C " Drive, it will work on a lot less if you have to.
PS Do not want to build , try a Dell Precision T5500 XEON procesor, with Adobe Specifications as above.

I've got a dual Xeon 2.85GHz, with 8-cores and 16GB and a GTX470 graphics card in my current computer. Good, bad, ugly?

Thanks.

Nothing wrong with the system as listed except for the Fermi GTX470 which is not on the Adobe approved list. See this link for info on non-approved cards: http://www.studio1productions.com/Articles/PremiereCS5.htm
