pre-capture vectorscope/audio levels
by Richard Mommsen on Oct 19, 2009 at 2:57:48 pm

I have the AJA Xena LHi capture card connected to an HP Z800 workstation running Adobe Production Premium Cs4. I am doing a video preservation/digitization project. Our workflow requires pre-capture color correction using a TBC and adjusting audio gain. Our trainer (who uses Final Cut Pro) says it is standard functionality to have a pre-capture vectorscope and audio levels so that those adjustments can be made. I am not able to find that functionality in Premiere which is surprising. I tried using On Location but it couldn’t detect the video input that was coming in via the AJA. Would you have any ideas about how I could do this?
