Heya,
I am trying to pull the video file from one of my CS3 projects from the PC hard drive to an external hard drive to move it to a computer that has CS4. It tells me that there is no room for the file. I know there is enough room for the big file on my hard drive so I am trying to figure out what is happeneing here.
I exported another story I was doing into a MPEG II file. But when I brung it into the new PC to edit it looked crappy. so I am hoping someone has the answer for me here. Thanks guys!

First, yes, you will lose all the files on the disk if your format.
NTSC is a newer file system on hard drives used by windows 2000 and up.
It basically allows for better file management and performance. And it allows for the storage of files over 4 Gigs without splitting them.
If you do have a FAT or FAT 32 system on the drive, I would recommend purchasing a new drive, (who needs backups? :-), then format the current one with the NTFS option.
