Premiere Pro has encountered an error as open it
by sara petrai on Sep 23, 2009 at 2:43:02 pm

Hi,
Can't cope anymore with Premiere and Mac... everytime I open it the window says 'Premiere pro has encountered an error"

[/randall/MediaCore/MediaLayer/VideoFilterHost/Make/Mac/../../Src/AEPLuginVideoFilterModule.cpp-107]

I've update evrything from Adobe,
ok I may have downloaded some plugin for After effect from Vuze...
My Operative System Mac OS X 2.66Ghz, 2gb Ram
Shall I reinstall everything?
please help I've to finish work!!!!
many thanks

Appears to be a plug-in conflict. Temporarily remove all 3rd party plug-ins from Premiere's Plug-in folder and try again. Add the plug-ins back one at a time to find the culprit.

in the Premiere folder there is not a plug in folder! I've got legal and Textures folder. In AE I've got plug in folder which has inside also the preset.
What about unistall creative suite and reinstall again?

when the error windows comes up and I try several times 'continue' at the end premiere opens but can't cope with any file inside a project saying they are too big! impossible cause I worked in that project just last week!
many thanks
looking for you reply!

[sara petrai] "What about unistall creative suite and reinstall again?"

That wont work because the uninstall will leave the plug-ins there.
You will need to locate these on your MAC (I am not a Mac person). There are over 200 plug-ins in the folder.
