Best setting to export HDV
by Sergio Barrozo on Sep 22, 2009 at 4:16:38 pm

I have a sequence in a Premiere CS3 project (HDV NTSC preset) and I want to export it to Encore. What is the best setting to export a movie to be imported by Encore?
As a test I have exported it as DV NTSC (720 x 480) but final quality is poor.

What sort of output do you need from Encore?

for most workflows, just importing the Premiere Pro sequence to Encore gets you to authoring and doesn't encode until the authoring is complete. I've done this with HD timelines for an SD project in Encore...seems to work fine.
