Video length does not match audio...

Hi there!
I'm having a problem that for the life of me I can't figure out.
I shot some footage on a Sony Ex1. The footage was shot at 23.976 g=frames per second. I import into Premiere CS4 without problem and do my editing. I then export the clips as uncompressed Quicktimes at 23.976 frame rate for color correcting in Autodesk Combustion 2008 (with the project settings at 23.976 frame rate). Once color corrected, I export the clips from Combustion (again as uncompressed quicktimes with 23.976 frame rate) and import to Premiere. Now suddenly, the video length is about 20% shorter than the audio. They don't synch u, but the footage is still at 23.976. I right clicked on the clip and used "Interpret Footage" command to make sure the footage was being interpreted as 23.976 ... and it is.

Yeah, sorry... I should have mentioned that. When I reimport the quicktimes right back into Premiere (without Combustion touching them at all) I get the same problem. The quicktimes that I just exported do not match up with the clips in the timeline. They're all falling slightly behind... like the timing is off somehow...

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. It must be some kind of frame rate issue, despite the fact that I was being diligent about importing and exporting everything at 23.976.
Maybe it is a QT problem. When I get home tonight I'll see what version of QT I have installed.
Incidentally, I have exported QT's with a variety of codec and do get the same problem...
