Avid Mac to Premier CS2
by John MacKinnon on Aug 11, 2009 at 11:21:02 am

I have just completed a shoot on DigiBeta. Have access to an Avid running on Mac OS 10.5. I would like to digitize on this to my 3TB G-Raid3 (arriving soon)with a view to offlining on my PC (XP) using Premier CS2.

Should I format the G-Raid3 to NTFS (with a partition), FAT32 and limit file sizes to 2gig or leave it and install sofware to allow me to read the files from my PC?

What settings would be best on the Avid to digitize? Not sure of the card they are using.

Any other advice. (apart from buying a Mac!)
