Importing Content from Hard Drive
How do I import footage that was not captured directly from a camera. It was on a memory card from a Panasonic HD Cam and the content was transfered over to my external hard drive. When I tried to import it, it would appear as a BMP still frame. How do I import it to Adobe Premier CS3?
Thanks
Gabriel

So it's from a P2 card. In that case you should have a "CONTENTS" folder, unless it was renamed. Inside that should be 6 folders.
You will need to drag the "VIDEO" folder into the Premiere project panel and everything will sync up including the audio.
If you don't have all these folders, you probably won't be able to use the footage.

I have all those folders and and when I dragged in that folder it just told me that the file format is not supported.
Thanks

You will need at least cs3 with its latest update.
