exporting with Adobe Premiere CS4
by Charles Hennegrave on Jun 22, 2009 at 7:01:37 pm

Hello guys,

Really need your help, I have a project to export as mpeg2 on Premiere pro CS4 and it seems to be blury and not smooth once exported. I am in the PAL region 25fps. My film was captured HDV 1440x1080 from a Sony Z1.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong here? or what the settings should be like?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Charles

What are your export settings? Make sure you haven't picked a progressive preset.

You have a lot of choices. You can test small portions of the timeline for multiple presets which is always a good thing to do. If nothing seems to be working, you can export as uncompressed AVI/MOV and then convert that to your final output. Finally, make sure your version of Adobe is the most current. My version of Adobe Media Encoder is 4.1.0.107
