HD SDI cards for PPro?

Looking for a DVCProHD solution for my dual processor HD edit system. I have Matrox now and it is horribly slow. What other HD SDI cards could I put in the system for capturing DVCProHD and outputting to my HD monitor?

That's strange, since Matrox (Axio) is the only card available that actually accelerates the editing process (rendering, export, real time effects) in addition to supplying HDSDI and analog I/O. If Matrox is slowing you down, there might be something amiss with your system.

That being said, there are a number of HDSDI I/O cards available from AJA, BMD, etc.

We use the AJA Xena HS and LS brand cards with little-to-no issues.

Until BMD gets their crap together, stay away. I'm suffering right now through a purchase of their equipment.
