Premiere Opens When Deck is Turned On

Using CS3. When I turn on my deck, the previous version of Premiere comes up. How can I stop this?

Are you using Windows or Mac? If Windows, I think you'll have to go in and change your file associations so they point to the new version.

Sorry, sorry. Yes, it is a windows box, running xp.

I wonder what file association...is there a file association for dv stream?

Delete the following registry folder;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurr
entVersionExplorerAutoplayHandlersHandlersAdobePremiereCameraArrival
