Adjust audio gain on several clips at once
by Dorian Richmond (Dorian1) on Jun 30, 2008 at 6:00:14 pm

Hi, I am working in CS3 and was wondering if there is a way of adjusting the audio gain of more than one clip on the timeline at a time? I'm trying to avoid having to highlight 5-6 clips and exporting them then re-importing them as one single clip in order to adjust them all at once. Any suggestions?

Lasso the group of clips to select them and then drag the audio clips as a group to a separate audio track for just them.
Change that Audio Tack's Show Keyframes mode to "Show Track Volume" and then drag the yellow rubber band to adjust volume for all the clips in that track.
Caveat; Any audio clips placed in that track latter will have their volume changed as well.
