Take audio or video only from source clip?
by Patrick Tulipano on Apr 4, 2008 at 4:52:05 pm

if i have a clip loaded in the source monitor window with audio and video, how can i take just audio or just video when laying it into the timeline? Can i do that in one step? instead of laying it in and then deleting what i don't want?

thanks

heey, when you import your clip into the timeline, rightclick on it and there should be an option:unlink audio from video,
then they are seperated and you can press delete to delete only the audio/video layer
