De-logo/watermark/bug filter for Premiere?
by Trixter on Jan 12, 2008 at 3:31:44 am

We are trying to use some footage (obtained legally, if anyone is thinking otherwise) that has a "bug" (watermark, logo, whatever you want to call it) in the lower right-hand corder with the standard ID superimposed over the video. For short-form projects, I've been using the de-logo filter over at www.compression.ru (down at the moment) with VirtualDub and exporting a chunk of footage, then including that into the program. However I'm getting really tired of that workflow and would like to keep everything in Premiere.

One option I suppose I have is to use de-logo in a avisynth script, then import the script into Premiere and use it, but that is really slow (I can't selectively turn it off for test renders).

Does anyone know of any free or commercial "de-logo" filters for Premiere?
