I am trying to figure out the best way to log and organize my footage shot on the new Sony NEXFS100U camera. I am using PPro CS5.5 on a windows machine. I downloaded Sonys CMU software and I was able to hook the camera up and import in footage from an SD card. My question is how do you log it and add information to the clips for organization in editing. I work on multiple projects a day (over 100 videos a year) and I use multiple shots from many videos for projects. I want to be able to add good metadata to the clips so I can find them easily will I am editing. Does anyone have a good workflow with this setup? Also any good archiving ideas would be great as well. Thanks for any help.
