Looking for advice on which 8TB 4 Bay 2 TB set up to get

I'm making a feature documentary. We will need 6 TB of space. Up until now we have managed on single 4 G raid TB drives and have had the drive copied onto another drive. We have been using G Raid 0. Just lost a drive.

Ready to invest some dough (we have no budget so price is important) and buy a 8 TB - 4 bay 2 TB array.

I have seen this G Raid set up http://www.tekserve.com/store/146/Desktop_RAID/-10068. Can't find it on B&H site

and Drobo which is less. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/620486-REG/Data_Robotics_8TB_Drobo_4_...

Any recommendations? Remember price is really important as is reliability and customer service.

Gayle,

We can build a box for you that would be an ideal solution. We can set up a system for you with 8tb in a 3u chassis, with the ability to expand unto 28 drives in our NAS-Pro box. We would recommend the shArc for video, being that we can put more SSD drives internally into that unit, but the NAS-Pro will be better for a limited budget. Our boxes were developed with video production in mind, and we have had great success, and outstanding performance.
You can price up our NAS-Pro online with the single controller, and if desired, add an expansion unit. The expansion unit can be added at anytime though.
