 | Quick question about naming bones

Before I go too deep into doing it, I wanted to see if anyone has ever had an issue with multiple rigged characters in the same scene sharing individual bone names. The whole armature names are unique for each character, but I wanted to make sure there isn't a possibility of problems arising from those armatures having the same names for their individual bones (for instance, each one has bones just named "head", "neck", "upper_arm.r" and so forth).
It's actually the same armature being appended for use with each character. I rename each armature, but before I take the time to go in and personalize every knuckle or knee bone I wanted to know if it's liable to cause glitches. Like having all the characters raise their arm when you try to animate one of them.
Better to check now than after setting up or dozen or so characters and then to have to change all the names.
