I am running Win7, 64-bit with Premiere Pro 5.5.
I just bough an HDX/SDI and installed it on my Core i7 box. I have run MOTU's latest 'SetupVideo.exe' several times but the program does not recognize Premiere Pro 5.5 as being installed and thus refuses to install the plugin. I've tried reinstalling PP but it doesn't help.
MOTU Video runs fine. Oddly, Premiere DOES recognize the HDX/SDI as an audio device. Is there somewhere I can download the plug-in by itself so I can install it manually?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

John,
Check to make sure there is no anti-virus software (e.g. Norton, Kaspersky and etc...). Some anti-virus software products are known to block installers from writing registry files. The Premiere installer writes a specific registry file that we look for to determine where to install the presets.
Here's what I'd recommend:
1. Turn off any anti-virus software.
2. Uninstall Adobe Premiere Pro.
3. Uninstall MOTU Hardware software.
4. Install Adobe Premiere Pro.
5. Install MOTU Hardware software.
6. Restart, and launch Adobe Premiere Pro.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I had to reinstall the entire CS5.5 Production Premium, but everything is now working. what a huge step up from my old G4 PPC with Media 100!
