Hi, i am finishing a project in FCP 7 and was asked to add CC, i did some research i found you add the .scc file in FCP 7 by print to video but i need to make a DVD. Where do i add .scc file is it in FCP Mov export i didn't find anything that looked like i can add .scc file same with compressor?
This was a last minute surprise... i sent them 4 min video sample they sent back the sample .scc file, now where do i add this .scc file? i have to answer them back to see if we can do it or they'll go with someone else. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Hi Vigen,
For DVD, you put the .SCC file into DVD Studio Pro or Adobe Encore when you author the DVD. It will not pass through captions to a DVD using the "Share to DVD" menu.

We have a video tutorial on our site for adding the SCC to DVD Studio Pro and Adobe Encore.

Unfortunately you cannot see the CC inside DVDSP, you have to either export a DVD image and play it with Apple's DVD Player, or you can actually burn a disc and check it on a DVD player.

Just to add for the first timers like me, make sure the CC is turned on on the TV. Thank you for your help.
