I'm outputting 24 fps subtititles from MacCaption that are going out of sync when authored (subtitles are late at the end) to Blu-ray. I've checked the exported time codes in Textedit and they are nailed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is an option when exporting the files to "Decrease exported time code by 1.000/1.001" Does anyone have experience with this option?

Thanks much!

Update: The option, "Decrease exported time code by 1.000/1.001" solved the sync issue, but I'm not certain why. I would love anyone's insight.

perhaps your timecode is not true 24 fps but is in fact 23.976?
